Vampires at Versailles!

In this re-imagined world set in Versailles, Louis XIV has been ruling for the past three hundred years--since becoming a vampire! Not content to the figurative bloodsucking of the poor, now the aristocracy exact a blood tythe upon the masses in order to quench their immortal thirst. Jeanne, a young paysanne whose parents were murdered by the King's dragoons in retaliation for their actions as part of the secret resistance, is now out for revenge. She poses as a Baroness and enters the Court of Vampires in order to get close enough to the King;. Will she succeed in driving a stake through his heart and ending his bloodthirsty reign?
