Posted by Jennifer Fulton on

Join us this Friday December 2 from 7-9pm during the Kensington Antique Row Holiday Open House!

🍷🧾This year we are excited to be partnering with our neighbors at the Deli Club restaurant for a special evening of French books and wine!  Receive a 10% coupon to spend at Deli Club when you purchase from Bonjour Books, and vice versa!

At Bonjour Books, we will have all our best books and other gift items out for holiday shipping inspiration: Paris, Asterix and Little Prince, Maxim's chocolates, Henaff, Lu, & other French gourmet treats, unique items from our favorite Parisian makers and much, much more!

Deli Club -- in addition to delicous casual dining --has a great selection of cheese, meats and wines for sale. 🍷And...they will be doing a special French wine tasting all evening long!

Most exciting of all....Meet The Glow of Paris Author & Photographer Gary Zuercher!

From 7:30pm-8:30pm Gary Zuercher will be here to sign his award-winning coffee table book, The Glow of Paris. A collection of stunning black and white night-time photographs of the 35 bridges that span the Seine, the book includes facts and anecdotes covering more than two thousand years of history of the bridges.

The Glow of Paris is an IPPY (Independent Publisher Book Award) Gold Medal Award Winner and the London Book Festival (amont many others!) proclaimed it one of the best books in the photography/art category in their annual competitions.

Come and hear all about this amazing project directly from the author this Friday evening from 7:30-8:30pm!

Both the book, as well as the just-released 2023 Glow of Paris Calendar, are available for purchase at Bonjour Books DC.    Look no further for THE perfect gifts for your favorite Francophile this holiday season!

After you've had your French fun with us, make sure to stop by the other wonderful Kensington shops -- including two other indie bookstores!
